Boilers
A boiler is a device that transfers heat to water until it becomes “boiling” hot. The hot water is then used to heat a home or business using radiant heat techniques. Water is a cheap, but useful medium for making heat, but there are other types of boilers too, including oil and gas boilers. Boilers are generally more expensive than furnaces and because they hold water there may be a tendency to leak. Don’t let that worry you! We service all brands of boilers. Contact our experienced technicians for the best advice.
Commercial Rooftops
We service most commercial buildings with rooftop units, from routine maintenance to major repairs and replacements.
Geothermal Units
A geothermal heat pump is the greenest, most efficient, and most cost-effective heating and cooling system available. In a nutshell, it uses long loops of underground pipes filled with liquid which are hooked up to a geothermal heat pump in your home. A geothermal unit is an all-in-one furnace and air conditioner and is extremely quiet compared to traditional units. At Keeley Heating and Cooling, we service all brands of geothermal units, including open and closed loop systems.
Mini-Split Units
Mini-splits are heating and cooling systems that allow you to control the temperature in one specific room or space. They are also known as ductless systems and are a highly advanced alternative to the usual A/C options. A “split” system has two main components – an outdoor compressor/condenser unit and an indoor air-handling unit/evaporator. They are very quiet and compact systems that do not take up much space in your home. Mini-splits are often used to zone the home so you are not heating or cooling rooms that you don’t use. In fact, we have one of these in our very own home and we love it!
Heat Pumps
A heat pump is a device that transfers heat energy from a heat source called a thermal reservoir. It actually pulls heat from the cold outdoor air in the winter months to heat your home, but it’s also capable of pulling heat out of your indoor air to cool your home in the summer months. Technically, a heat pump is a mechanical-compression cycle refrigeration system that can be reversed to either heating or cooling in a controlled space. It basically moves warm air from one space to another to either heat or cool. Let our professional technicians help you with your heat pump needs.
Humidifiers
A humidifier will emit water vapors or steam to increase moisture levels during dry winter months. Humidifiers can be beneficial for helping to prevent dryness that causes skin irritation and nose or throat irritation. Humidity acts as a natural moisturizing agent that can relieve the symptoms of allergies, asthma, and the common cold. If you want to live a healthier life, indoor air quality can be an important decision to make. Contact our experienced HVAC technicians to find out what type of humidifier would be best in your environment.
Air Conditioners
Keep your family cool during hot summer months by scheduling regular tune-ups for your air conditioner. At Keeley Heating and Cooling, our experienced technicians go above and beyond to keep our customers happy, solving most problems during the initial visit. With over 25 years of experience, we know the local area well and will always make our customers a top priority. We service and repair all brands of A/C units. Whether you need a maintenance visit, a repair, a complete system replacement or a new installation, we have you covered!
Indoor Air Quality
Indoor air quality refers to the air quality within buildings and structures, especially as it relates to the health and comfort of building occupants. At Keeley Heating and Cooling, we can assess your home’s indoor air quality needs and provide you with high quality air filters, heat recovery units, and exhaust fans.

Dehumidifiers
A dehumidifier will help reduce and maintain the level of humidity in the air, usually for health or comfort reasons. It can eliminate musty odors and prevent the growth of mildew by extracting water from the air. Contact one of our knowledgeable technicians to find out which type of dehumidifier would work best in your environment.
